2016 Inside Networks Charity Golf Day Date Announced

Inside_Networks announces date for 2016 Charity Golf Day for Macmillan Cancer Support

Following this year’s event, which raised over £6,000, Inside_Networks is once again teaming up with CNet Training, Computacenter, Excel Networking Solutions and LMG to host the 2016 Inside_Networks Charity Golf Day, which will take place on 25th May at the Hanbury Manor PGA Championship Course in Ware, Hertfordshire.

As usual, the event will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and four ball teams will compete in a ‘best 2 from 4’ full handicap Stableford competition over 18 holes. Golf will be followed by a three-course dinner and prize giving with charity raffle. The cost to enter a four-person team is just £550+VAT and sponsorships are also available for various aspects of the day.

Rob Shepherd, editor of Inside_Networks, commented, ‘This year’s event saw almost 100 people assemble for a hotly contested but good-humoured day, which also offered a chance to catch up with familiar faces and network. The work that Macmillan Cancer Support carries out is invaluable and I hope that the industry will unite once again for a great day of networking and competition on one of the UK’s premier golf courses.’

Andrew Stevens, managing director at CNet Training, added, ‘We have raised over £43,000 since we began the Charity Golf Days and we hope that this event will break the £50,000 barrier. Now firmly established as one of the most popular events in the network infrastructure industry calendar, it is a great day out which allows us to focus our competitive streaks in a different direction, while raising money for a worthwhile cause.’
